ABOUT FANDANGO®

Fandango® Special Events Inc. is a full-service special event design and coordination company
with 25 years of experience in planning and decorating corporate and social events.

Fandango has extensive experience with all types of events including black tie galas, corporate
events, outdoor festivals, social and charity events, holiday parties, product launches, and trade
shows. Fandango has worked in a wide variety of venues, including convention centers, five
star hotels, country clubs, arenas, outdoor locations, and private estates.

Marie Anderson founded Fandango in 1984, after working for several years as a consultant for
United Way of Ventura County and the Arthritis Foundation of the San Fernando Valley for
whom she created invitations, graphics, centerpieces and décor, and planned events.
Marie's background included work in the entertainment industry as a singer / songwriter, as well
as experience in both fine and commercial art. Her realistic painting is featured in many of the
Fandango scenery flats and backdrops. She has also studied floral design.  The first prop that 

Fandango built was a pair of pink flamingos, inspiring the "party flamingo" logo.

By 1989 Fandango had its first Fortune 500 client. Fandango moved to its current industrial
location in 1991, and has expanded twice. Fandango was officially registered as a US
trademark in 1996, and became a California Corporation in 2002.

Fandango has grown to include offices, a 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse, full-time employees, a fleet
of trucks, and a list of clients ranging from the Fortune 500 to the Entertainment Industry.
Fandango’s props have been seen on TV shows such as Access Hollywood, Gilmore Girls, and
in TV commercials for Mercury Insurance.

Fandango’s warehouse features hundreds of scenery flats, backdrops, curtains, facades, 3-
dimensional figures, columns, arches, carpet, stanchions, lighting, trussing, lattice, and more.
Fandango has props and décor for dozens of unique event themes, including Hollywood,
International, Historic Eras, Tropical, Art Deco, Holiday, Western, and many more. Fandango
can coordinate a vast array of outside services including tables, chairs, tents, staging, catering,
floral, transportation, venues and entertainment.

Fandango’s wholly owned subsidiary, Standzall® Display Systems, supplies stands for press
walls, scenery, lattice panels and dividers. Clients include major motion picture studios, rental
companies and graphics companies from coast to coast. 

Fandango is located in Newbury Park, California, approximately 45 minutes northwest of Los Angeles.
